DIRECTING & PRODUCING

AESTHETX

Role: Producer + Production Manager + Editor

Deliverables: 1 Main practise film + 2 personal brand films.

About: In a large scale brand development of their newly combined practice, Dr. Kamakshi Zeidler and Dr. Lawrence Berkowitz wanted to create a suite of videos that would communicate their unified vision of what working together meant.

Director: Jody Stillwater

DP: Michael Epple

Working with the pair, for me, became a masterclass in what it meant to rely on a creative partner. The two had chosen to undertake different areas of plastic surgery, had risen to great heights in their respective fields, but shared a unique reverence for what it is that they did every day. Separately their characters were warm, precise in how they spoke, and direct with their communication. But once they were in the same room, they captivated everyone around them with their passion for making people happy. Inside the operating theatre and out, what they had realized in themselves, and found in each other was the undeniable power of making people smile and feel better in their bodies.

Teamwork:
Having someone there to help you reflect, and make decisions.
Build off of one another’s complimentary knowledge.
Bring new perspective to the conversation.

MONOCLE MAGAZINE

Role: Videographer + editor

Deliverables: 1 film

About: Working with producer Gillian dobias and reporter robert bound, we mingled through paris photo la to create a film that covered the photography show’s first california appearance. With gillian’s sharp eye for detail and story structure, and robert’s silky smooth voiceover the film captures a strong perspective of a londoner’s take on a parisian institution takeover in california. It’s sexy, yet weird. Buttoned up, but not to the top.

After the success of “Make, Do, Change”, a film I made for Monocle when they came to San Francisco, I was contacted again to create a second. This time covering the world famous Paris Photo show’s entrance to LA.

Deliverables: 1 film to translate the vision of a growth for a community

About: Samaritan medical center is a top tier family run property management business. They’ve provided industry leading medical space for practitioners for over 50 years. When they began telling me about the proposed vision for the future of their campus, it felt thrilling. to be able to tell the story at such an inflection point in the history of this organisation has been humbling.

Now This…

Can you believe that I’ve been playing with camera’s and editing video for 10 years and never got around to making my own website, until now!

As I now enter the final months of my MA in Directing and Producing Television Entertainment at the National Film and Television School in England, I embark upon a period of time known specifically as the, “I am a highly talented professional, and I would like to work for your organisation” phase.

I have produced and directed commercials for entities large and small. Filmed and edited reportage for some of the most venerated news outlets in the world. And now, I have added television workflow to the list!
